We are moving totally from” Analogue to Digital “ – WHY ? Because you don’t need to be a Digital Dentist to use our DSD 3D Planning Service? The real FACT is, YOU as the Dentist do NOT need to know absolutely anything about digital, not even a scanner. As the DSD Certified Lab and DSD Planning Centre WILL scan the models for YOU, upload this to our website, Print the project and send YOU the finished product. It is that simple! Omega Ceramics Dental Lab is the DSD Certified Dental Lab in Australia. A dedicated team with some of the most highly skilled Clinicians in assisting you to develop high quality Digital Smile Designs for your patient. This is keenly overseen by Tom Friedman and Russell Young the Certified DSD Master & Instructor.
At Omega we’ll create a Digital Smile Preview, or a Smile Design Mock up, Digital Designs in 3D or 3D Mock up showing you and your patient’s smile before and after the proposed treatment.
We can then adjust the smile based on feedback from the Clinician and their patient. We’ll need some photos from your camera, iPad, smart phone or video of your patient to get things started. This can be all downloaded via www.smiledesignonline.com
The next Stage
Once the Smile Design has been established and accepted the non digital option can be your next stage which is wax up in detail and then provide you (the Dentist) with a wax up transfer mould to help you transfer the DSD design to your patient’s mouth. Included also are reduction keys to assist you in preparation of your DSD case.
